The cry of the Fairy is a work of art-song that earned the prestigious recognition of finalist at the Premio Tenco 2022 as Best Work Overall. Vibrisse Studio handled the artistic production, arrangements, instrumental performance and sound design, as well as the visual design of the booklet and materials related to the album.
This project stands out for its approach that blends tradition and innovation: the musical work engages with digital tools and immersive practices, creating an expanded experience involving sonic imagination, poetic narrative and technology.

Visual design and cover
The entire graphic design of the booklet (including paintings, illustrations and marginalia) was created by Vibrisse Studio, with art direction and visual development by Marcello Stefanelli and Gabriele Santucci.
The graphic project accompanies the musical work by constructing an iconographic universe coherent with the album’s imagery, where word, sound and image interact organically.
The album cover, however, was created by Renzo Chiesa, one of the most important photographers in Italian music, author of images that have documented generations of artists and shaped the visual history of Italian and international music, including the famous cover of Lucio Dalla’s album Dalla, released in 1980. His photograph gives the work an additional dimension, placing it within a visual tradition of the highest level.
Some testimonials…
Among the most significant reviews of Il grido della Fata is the one written by Elisabetta Malatrucco, RAI journalist, published on Blogfoolk. In her in-depth article, Malatrucco highlights the poetic and musical quality of the work, emphasizing its narrative coherence, the richness of the arrangements and the depth of the lyrics.
The album is described as a work that goes beyond the boundaries of the traditional song form, presenting itself as a unified artistic project in which word, sound and vision intertwine with balance and expressive maturity. The review also underlines the care taken in the artistic production and the work’s ability to combine the Italian singer-songwriter tradition with contemporary sonic research.
According to an article by Michele Neri (well-known RAI author and former editor-in-chief of the music magazine Vinile) published in Agenda Digitale, works such as Il grido della Fata, together with the projects of Vibrisse Studio, represent examples in which digital elements merge with analogue ones, both in the arrangements and the packaging, showing how physical music media and digital technologies can coexist and enrich each other.
